A Dental Practice that Cares

Dr. David Sutton: My name is Dr. David Sutton. I'm a doctor of dental surgery, that's what DDS stands for. And here at this practice, I am co-owner with my son, Dr. Joseph Sutton. Dr. Joseph Sutton: Hello, I'm Dr. Joseph Sutton. I'm a dentist here at Newport Family Dental Care. I've been a dentist for almost 10 years. I've been a dentist here for a little over three years with my first part of my career was in the Army as a dental officer for the United States Army. Dr. David Sutton: What makes this practice different from other offices is, first of all, I think we probably care about the patients more than other offices. We listen to our patients. We don't try to tell the patients what to do. We love to ask questions and find out what's really going on with them and to again just help them get to where they want to go. James: I've been to . . . I'm from Illinois originally and I've been to, you know, different dentists up there and it's like, "Well, you know, brush your teeth every day." And there was no program. They didn't really, you know, they just took care of my problem and there was no fixing up, you know, like a program. Rita: I feel we are in a partnership to take care of my teeth, feel they do everything they can to help me keep my teeth healthy. Dr. Joseph Sutton: Our goals and the future of Newport Family Dental Care are really to provide the highest level of dental health care to the community. Allison: I love my job because, you know, I get to see patients, you know, every six months basically. I feel like I get to know them on a personal level and then I get to help them with their overall oral health and get them in better condition than when they walked through the door. Debbie: We all get along like family here. If you are coming in with dread on your face, we hope you leave with a smile. Walter: And when they say family, that's what they mean. It is. It's family, like, when you walk through the door, you get greeted. You don't just have to go sit down. They may be busy, but they always have the time to say hi or to smile at you.
