Our office in Newport, TN, features many cutting-edge dental tools, but perhaps the most revolutionary of them all is our CEREC (chairside economical restoration of esthetic ceramics) machine.
The CEREC machine analyzes digital scans of your bite and then sculpts dental porcelain into crowns or veneers that fit perfectly into your smile. Best of all, it can complete this process in less than an hour.
While other practices force you to schedule multiple appointments over several weeks to receive veneers, Newport Family Dental Care offers you the unbeatable convenience of same-day dentistry.

Will dental insurance cover veneers?
Cosmetic dentistry is not usually covered by dental insurance, so patients should expect to pay out-of-pocket for porcelain veneers. We offer several ways to help patients manage the cost of veneers, including financing through Quality Dental Plan and CareCredit®.
Are veneers a better option than teeth whitening?
If you have discolored teeth, you may be wondering if you should invest in professional teeth whitening or in porcelain veneers. The right solution for you will depend on the nature of your dental stains. If you simply have surface-level stains, teeth whitening can effectively brighten your smile, and whitening is more affordable and less invasive than veneers. However, some stains are too deep in the enamel for whitening to correct. If that is the case, dental veneers are probably the best available option.
What's the difference between a crown and a veneer?
A dental crown is essentially a tooth-shaped cap that completely covers a natural tooth. Veneers, on the other hand, only cover the visible surfaces of teeth. Crowns are usually used to protect teeth that have been treated with root canal therapy, but they can be used for cosmetic purposes, as well. Whether we use a crown or a veneer to improve the appearance of an imperfect tooth will often depend on how strong the tooth is. If a tooth is not able to support a veneer, then we can usually place a crown instead.
How do I take care of my veneers?
Living with veneers doesn't require any major changes to your normal dental routine. If you brush and floss every day and visit Newport Family Dental Care for a check-up at least twice a year, your veneers can easily last for a decade or longer.
